The first thing you’ll see as you drive in the Chinese Village.  Obviously for the benefit of tourists the sign and dragon statues with red are easily recognizable as Chinese.

Inside the Chinese Yunnan Cultural village is souvenir shops, and the good taste Chinese-Yunnan foods provided to wait for all the tourists who go to have a visit. The Chinese cuisine are delicious : such as braised pork with preserved mustard greens, black chicken curry and other delicious Chinese noodles.

Besides souvenir stores selling Chinese items, Chinese Yunnan village has a lot more to offer to visitors in terms of leisure activities such as tea tasting sessions, horse riding, wellness and shooting games. It is also a centre to showcase Chinese culture.

North of the primary viewpoint area is the Santichon village or Chinese Yunnan village that is famous for emulating a Chinese village far away from Mainland China, that we call Yun Lai Viewpoint. On all sides, viewers will see gorgeous mountains that roll across the landscape in the everlasting distance. Just behind the main viewpoint, visitors will find small huts where tea is served and bananas hang for visitor consumption.

How to get there?

To reach the Chinese Yunnan Cultural Village, also known as Santichon Village, from Pai town center, start by heading west from the walking street area and follow the hospital road until you reach the Bypass Road. Cross the Bypass Road and continue driving uphill. After approximately 1 kilometer past the Thai Cultural Center, you’ll encounter a large Chinese gate spanning a bridge. Cross the bridge to enter Santichon Village, located just 5 kilometers from Pai town center, making it an easily accessible destination for a short trip.
