The trailhead, located 3 kilometers from Ban Huay Hi, winds through a diverse landscape of dry evergreen forests, conservation zones, and historical sites. During the ascent, which takes approximately 2.5 hours, trekkers will pass wild orchid conservation areas that bloom between March and April, creating a spectacular display of colors. Upon reaching the summit, participants can relax, enjoy a packed lunch, and take in the sweeping views of Mae Hong Son’s rolling mountains.

The descent takes approximately 3 hours, leading through a landscape filled with former rotational farming lands and historical landmarks, including a site where an aircraft wreckage was found. Once back in Ban Huay Hi, guests have the opportunity to explore the village, observe Karen weaving traditions, and learn about natural fabric dyeing techniques before returning to Mae Hong Son Town.
